Targetball game is purely Indian game. This game was started by Dr. Sonu Sharma in Men's category in year 2012 from Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh state. This game for Women’s was started in India in 2014. Targetball game it is being played in India officially since 2016. Targetball game is held in 2016 in SGFI and AIU included in the Games in 2017 in India. This game started being played in every state till 2019. After the popularity of this game in India, Dr. Sonu Sharma decided to promote this game internationally from 2020 to 2022. Dr. Sonu Sharma apart from India, he went to many countries and gave a demonstration of this game and got friendly matches with other countries. In August 2022, the first official International level competition of Targetball game was organized by Dr. Sonu Sharma. This competition was organized from 5 August 2022 to 9 August 2022 in Dhaka, Bangladesh in the name of Founder's Trophy for Senior Category and Achievers Cup for Junior Category. So that this game can become very popular and interesting. The father of this game was called Dr. Sonu Sharma
